 Does every one know what the covers of the Twilight series mean ?? If you need some help figuring out what any of the covers mean for : Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse or Breaking Dawn , you can message me and ill explain........ =D I think i have already helped out some people =) so just ask if you wan to know. new moon-there is no real meaning
eclipse-many believe its like bellaas live hanging buy a tread she has so many decisions to make
breaking dawn- is a metaphor for Bella's progression throughout the entire saga. She began as the weakest (at least physically, when compared to vampires and werewolves) player on the board: the pawn. She ended as the strongest: the queen. In the end, it's Bella that brings about the win for the Cullens.

wiki's not a good site!!!! its a site were any one can go on there and just put any facts they want to ... thats why when you write papaers in high school and in college they tell you not to use that site!!!!!!! so it doesnt help sorry .. i know all the meanigs okay if you want to know just messag me .. and if you think you know DONT post it . becasue it might be wrong and if you want to know what I think message me for that to thanks.

Twilight book 1- the forbidden fruit. About Bella thinking weither to be with Edward or not.
New Moon- (title)About bella starting over again. Steph Meyer didnt choose the flower (no significance)
Eclipse- represents choice that Bella must make between Edward and Jacob. How Bella cant completely break away from her human life
Breaking Dawn- Bella's journey, starting as the weakest(pawn) and ending up the strongest(queen)

i think your right in all of your interpretation. let us add that new moon may also means jacob's transformation into a wolf (or shape shifters as described in breaking dawn). eclipse, as quoted by jacob "but i cant fight with an eclipse" when bella said that jacob is her sun. it shows that bella choose edward, the eclipse. this is my own interpretation of twilight's cover.

i think i know wut they mean...
Twilight: the forbidden fruit is an apple and edward cant "hear" bella, so i think bellas the forbidden fruit
New Moon: stephenie meyer said that theres no particular meaning, but most people think that the falling petal is edward leaving
Eclipse: bella is torn between edward and jacob
Breaking Dawn: the red pawn is bella as a human and the white king is bella as a vampire

like i said before, some of these are probably wrong, so please dont make a big fuss about it.

I really like the front covers to all the four books because I think that they really do represent what Stephenie wanted them to present.

They are also really cool, and somehow they really do tie in the storyplots.

The first means the temptation that Edward holds for Bella and vice versa, you know, the tale of the Garden of Eden from the Bible (hence the citation at the beginning).
The second...no idea.
The third is how Bella is torn between Jacob and Edward
The fourth, well, it's Bella's character as human (the red pawn) and as vampire (the white queen)
