As faithful viewers of the CW series Smallville we have spent 7 long years waiting for Clark Kent to grow up and be at a point in his life where we can see him getting ready to become Superman the greatest Superhero ever. Everyone knows that from the beginning there has been one woman at Clark Kent and Superman's side and that is Lois Lane. Erica Durance was brought onto Smallville in season 4 and provided Clark with a sounding board, an ongoing challenge and a kind of friendship he had not previously known on the show. The banter and fun that is Lois and Clark has been one of the highlights of the last 3 years of the series though any fun was in short supply in season 7. As the series gets ready to wrap up we encourage you to please make use of one of your greatest assets on the show and the greatest love story of all time- bring Erica onto the show for more episodes this season and put her growing friendship and importance in Clark's life front and center on the show. One Tree Hill has successfully grown up their show and their characters it is time for Smallville to do so as well. The best way to do this is use Erica and her talents and let us all enjoy watching Lois and Clark grow up in the next season so that we can all feel confident that they will be the Lois and Clark we all know and love when the series is over.

I wanne see more Erica and Tom scenes.
They are so hot together
If she is not pleaing in a episode than and don't watch it.

lois has been one of clark's best friends but isn't time it progressed from that. i mean, what is the point of watching smallville if not to see one of the most famous romances ever; lois and clark. so please!!! oblige our wishes

I would really like a more matured relationship between Lois and Clark. A relationship that shows their love and the chemistry between them. I want it to progress and actually become something, before it's too late. I want something besides all the UST we've been given. I want the first kiss, the lust, the love scenes, the I love yous, the looks in their eyes as they develop the true relationship between them. We deserve all of that. We need Lois Lane to be strong, to be passionate, and to be there beside Clark as all of the incredible things she is. But do not cheat us out of a relationship and all of the moments leading up to that relationship we deserve. We deserve it all. Thank you.

I'm a Superman fan since I was a kid. When I found out about Smalville, I wasn't interested because Lois Lane wasn't in it. I immediately bought the DVD season 4 on the day I found out about her introduced in Season 4. Lois was great...the rest was history. I have the entire DVD collection 1-7. S8 is awesome. I want to see more of CLOIS...CLANA is ancient history. Hopefully Smallville will continue all the way to Season 12 in which Clark puts on the suit and confesses to Lois that he is Superman. Tom and Erica has great chemistry together. SMALLVILLE rocks!!!

Great post Jeff and yeah plenty of us skipped the first three boring seasons before Lois joined the show- this season has been great- if there is a season 9 she has to be in EVERY episode!

Thank you for signing our petition supporting LOIS on the show. And Lois knows everything because she is the coolest woman in the world according to Superman scribe Geoff Johns. In the comics she is Clark's wife and has been in the comics along with Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen since Action Comics #1- she will always be Clark's number one.

Lois and Clark's relationship needs to start progressing more. How can it if Erica isn't going to be in 5 of the next 6 episodes? There needs to be Clana closure, but not having Lois in more than 1 of the 5 Lana episodes is just silly. I sure hope that the producers will have her in every remaining episode after Lana leaves, the relationship of Clois needs to be on screen, developing between the two of them even further. That promo that is on CW's website hinting at the relationship between Lois and Clark and how a hero needs passion better be a promo of what is to come after Lana leaves, hopefully it isn't just one big tease.

If there is a season 9, please use it to develop the relationship of Lois and Clark into the iconic one it is meant to be.
