Stop the Canadian Baby Seal SlaughterForum Discussion for Stop the Canadian Baby Seal Slaughter 123456789next ›last » Submitted by izzy c. on Mon, 12/29/2008 - 09:44
ok wtfh.. i read back down the comments and some of u people aren't interested in the seals at all! a bunch of pricks, mainly G.B and Whos.y, or watev, r just using this forum as an excuse 2 air out their petty comments and sick sense of humour.. how many hours did u guys spend in ur room, thinking up ways 2 justify using hitler quotes to promote humane killing?? yeah, coz ur all so open-minded urselves.. omfg, whos.y or watev ur name is, what is with the 'id like 2 beat u 2 death with a seal-skin covered club'?? i mean, i get the ironic humour, but.. really not the time nor place. if u guys didnt try to disguise ur spurious immaturity with big words - yeah, i can use them too - id think u were just a couple of dumb kids trying to drag ur pathetic squabbling into an adult environment. actually, i still think that. go do something u'd be good at, like leading corrupt governments in their destruction of small third-world countries... at least that wouldnt put ur obvious intelligence to waste. or if u don't do that, at least get lives and stop examining the faults of other peoples'. i agree; the way these beautiful animals are being slaughtered is WRONG! but its good to know there are people doing something bout it. but this disgusting act has been going on for years - i even got hold of a 70s mag that advertised against it - so hopefully, soon we can stop it for good :) yay! who hunts seal? real fur is disgusting to wear! Submitted by angel r. on Mon, 11/17/2008 - 02:33
fur is not at all fashionable if i see any animals fur it makes me upset and gag to think that the poor animal was killed for its fur id rather go naked than wear any animals fur its horrible that these adorable creatures r being killed so people can attempt to make a fashion statement Submitted by charles r. on Tue, 11/11/2008 - 02:28
Having read most of the comments I believe that no matter what, killing any animal for nothing more than their fur is not fashionable. I'd like to know honestly how many people could actually kill and clean what they've killed. Seals are not fighters, and anybody that could actually condone that deseves to be tortured. baby seals are cute and adorable. No animal should have to be killed! How could we trust humans if they have an sick mind and careless hearts. Submitted by Alia L. on Sun, 10/05/2008 - 01:07
baby seals are cute and inocent they shoud not be killed...its cruel and insesitive...the fact that humans are doing this is treacherous...it hurts me to say this but i f**kin hate us humans sometimes. is horrid atrousous and plain cruel. i like being me as much as any human but some peple shouldnt be alive or at least have a different attitude. if they like killing this animals that has big brown eyes and look sweet. Then why dont they go to hospital or school and hit the babies or kids. they cant cause its against the law and etc. Then we need a law to protect this babies Submitted by Sharyn L. on Tue, 09/16/2008 - 04:15
The fact that any human being with a heart and conscious could look one of these precious, innocent babies in the eyes and kill them in such a horrific manner, or at all is beyond me. It makes me sick and I think we should do the same to the human animals that kill these baby seals. We have to do all we can to help save these precious babies! My name is Loren, and I want to join this campaign because I've seen videos of what's done to the baby seals and it angers me so badly. There are so many great causes that need help, but I just wanted to ask - what else can I do? Get my friends to join - should we send emails to Congress, or the particular countries involved in these issues? Please let me know what other actions I can take - I write very good emails and I can send out tons of them as long as I know the recipient. Thanks! mike c. just leave. HA. Submitted by Lizzy N. on Sat, 08/23/2008 - 00:52
amy, i wouldnt mind clubbing you round the head. this type of killing breaks my heart instantly. and mike c. thats so we can live and you can barley avoid treading on an ant. i swear they kill these seals for there skin? Submitted by Jade T. on Tue, 08/05/2008 - 18:07
Seriously. Slaughtering baby seals is sick and wrong. It NEEDS to stop, and it needs to stop now. I wouldn't give a care if the seals were killed instantly but clubbing them is inhumane and cruel just for the pelts. Why can't they just only use guns and aim for the head? =P Submitted by Deanne G. on Sat, 05/24/2008 - 03:41
Im signing for those cute animals! Submitted by Derek P. on Thu, 04/17/2008 - 10:16
Yet again...a comment based on emotion and the image of a cute, cuddly baby seal that has been programmed into the minds of the masses. Please read the last few posts by people that actually know the industry...because they actually live close to the industry. Don't bow to the will of a terrorist like paul watson. Submitted by dian n. on Wed, 04/16/2008 - 06:53
only people who don't have hearts who kill baby seal.just imagine if seals take turn and kill yours Submitted by G B. on Tue, 04/15/2008 - 16:03
For all those that think that Watson or any other anti-seal organization isn't in it for the $ - read this excerpt from an interview with him: Barbara F: Are you suggesting that they fight for seals rather than other animals because it's easy, or easier to raise money that way, or because it's a profit maker for the? Paul Watson: Well it's definitely because it's easier to make money and because it does make a profit because there are over a thousand animals on the endangered animals list and the harp seal isn't one of them. Plus it was entertaining. I guess there really is NO argument based on logic.. all the little ones scattered. This thread needs a tumbleweed. Submitted by Mike C. on Sun, 04/13/2008 - 21:54
I think banning Wesley was a mistake. His nonsensical rabble-rousing did more to show the fallacies of this cause than any counter-argument I've read. Submitted by G B. on Sun, 04/13/2008 - 16:40
Just wanted to say HI to Wesley, just in case he's been watching. So sorry you can't post. From all of us "seal murdering thugs" We miss you!! Submitted by Derek P. on Sun, 04/13/2008 - 12:44
I can't help it, but it freaks me out that the animal rights groups are following Hitler's quotes word for word. And for anyone else reading this, I'll say it again...it's all about the MONEY. Organizations like greenpeace, ifaw, sea shepherd, and the humane society are looking to fatten their bank accounts...they couldn't care less about actually protecting the animals---so don't be a sucker. Think for yourself, don't follow the will of the masses, do some THOROUGH research, and come up with your own conclusions. Submitted by G B. on Sun, 04/13/2008 - 01:10
Of course they did. They've moved on to whatever pseudo-cause the media has made important this week. The best thing about "activists" is that they generally either bow out when something gets hard, or go way over the top and do something stupid like blow up a ship. The kids on this board, I dare say, are probably in the first group. Words with too many syllables, grammatical correctness, and a few Strous quotes scared them off. Notice how everyone left after logic and evidence were demanded? Submitted by Mike C. on Fri, 04/11/2008 - 19:05
No hatred... sarcasm... I was pointing out how hatred tactics are being used by protesters to rally the masses - a tactic based on Strous' theories and demonstrated to be extremely effective by certain terrorist groups and the Conservatives, for example. Again, I'm stressing the use of emotion rather than logic being used by individuals such as Deborah, Pat and Wesley. I'm originally from rural NL, by the way. Submitted by BAre E. on Fri, 04/11/2008 - 20:22
Thanks for clairifying that, Mike. I didn't pick up on the sarcasm - my apologies! Submitted by Whos y. on Fri, 04/11/2008 - 17:40
Mike... what's with the Newfie hate? Don't you consider Newfie hate no different… and just as ignorant as any other group hate? Loading People... |
