Description:

People can be so mean to others who aren't like them, we SHOULD NOT base our social, work, or any decision on race, it's stupid and childish. Some of the kids are even brought up to believe that we have to treat other races badly. This quote that describes racism "Racism is man's greatest threat to man - the maximum hatred for a minimum of reason."

I wish to change the way people see each other.

Forum Discussion for Stop Racism

Joe Jonas Lover STOP RACISM!!! ONLY SCUM BAGS ARE RACIST!!!

Enough of having these attitudes. This is simply hatered. We are all the same. Our backgrounds may be different and of course our appearance, but we are all of the same race, the HUMAN RACE!

I agree with you and hope people gonna use their brain, I ve read many racists comments on this site, specially towards Muslims and their religion. The racists fear of what is different of their thoughts, a pity !

You're absolutely right!

This goes for all races and reverse racism!

I agree with your petition. It should be that way and I wish it was that way. Martin Luther King had great courage and fought racism and for equal rights. Mahatma Ghandi fought against racism. But look what happened to each of them. But things won't change at all if people don't speak out.

People speak out all the time. If a white man speaks out for fights for white people, it is considered racist and judged for his beliefs. But if a black man shouts "Black power" he is "courageous" and "a hero". Racism is all around and will not change just because someone "speaks out". Even if you speak out on behalf of someone of a different race. Someone else will always be there to condemn them. It is a fantasy that EVERYONE will agree on the same thing and, therefore, racism will NEVER go away.

I agree with you. The speaking out on behalf of another race is probably another reason why I was labeled an Oreo. Not to mention racism is't the only -"ism" that is a problem.

I believe I have failed to miss one critical fact! When was the last time we had a white man month? I know about African American Pride month, Asian American Pride month, hell, there are even events which allow Mexicans Americans and American Indians to take the day/week off from work, and or, school. Every time I mention racism to an African American, I am treated as if I, and my ancestor, were slave owners. People, my heritage is Swedish! Neither myself, nor my ancestors owned slaves! We can't stop racism, because racism is a form of hate! Everychild born into this world, is born of hate. It's in everyones heart and will be there till the day they die!

Noe stated,"Every child born into this world, is born of hate" You speak of God and Jesus, but your words are empty and ignorant of the love of Jesus. I am not critizing you as a person, I m critizing your comments. I am sure you meant to express yourself differently. Anyone who beleives a child is is born of hate, cannot possibly beleive in the same love that Jesus preaches and demonstrates. Children are not born with hate and we do not have hate in our hearts. Think of a new born baby (regardless of race) and how peaceful and angelic they are! A world without babies and children, would be chaos! Children bring us love, otherwise no one woule have them and we would not exist.

Hate is created in our mind. If we allow others to take our power and pollute our minds with hate, then we become like them. Hate is a strong word, and it is something that is learned.

Hate are like weeds in a garden, if you allow the weeds to exist, they will destroy your beautiful garden. Therefore, you yank the weeds out!

I agree that all people have stereotypes of others, but racism, is different. Racism, is beleiving that your race is superior to others and you are more valuable than another human being, and taking it a step further, showing that you are superior show of words or actions. To add to your comments, I beleive that people who are racists or bigots, are trying to compensate for something they lack in their life. Maybe, this is the only way they can make themselves feel better. It's a shame!

By the way, I noticed that you are a U.S. Marine, thank you for your service and sacrice to our country and our freedom!

Look african american month was started by a black man, and he only asked for a week. It originaly was a week. Also Mexicans have a month to but you never really here about it granted. I will never blame you for what happened with any of our ancestors because what they did does not have to do with what we do, except without them we wouldnt be here semi debating this fact. And for your last comment/ sentence; I guess it wouldnt matter what religion you are or laws you follow there will still be racism. And you didn't respond to my other comment for you.

As much as rasicism annoys me but I tend to look from a realistic standpoint. In order for that to happen you would have to have people unlearn everything and reteach them. It would be nicer if it wasn't so obvious or it just stayed in peoples heads but that probably never happen. Not to mention everyone is a bit racist at times

How exactly are you going to uneducate people on being human? Racism is a dire part of being man. Though racism is not, in the least bit, honorable; we don't need unintellectual ideas, such as re-teaching persons what is already instilled in their minds. The way to make a change, is to have all races stop using deragatory remarks "Escpecially to their peeps". The symbolism I refer to: Same race clicks need to quit calling each other N*G*RS, Spooks, kykes, white trash, spic, beaner, powder, cracker, chizzle, jew(ish), ect.... and begin to realize, by the music we play and the people we socialize with, racism will remain intact! Try to understand the lyrics of "Rap"! All rap speaks about, is; pornography, rape, assault, race 'racism', pride, extorsion, so on so forth! To make a difference, we, as a people, need to change the click to a more Christian influence! I'm not talking about believing in Christ, just implying all the benificiall information He laid down for us! I leave you with a quote from Benjamin Franklin in a letter to the President of Yale six weeks prior to his death. "As for Jesus of Nazareth, my opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think his system of morals and his religion, as he left them to us, the best the world ever saw or is likely to see; but I apprehend it has received various corrupting changes, and I have, with most of the present dissenters in England, some doubts as to his divinity; though it is a question I do not dogmatize upon, having never studied it, and think it needless to busy myself with now, when I expect soon an opportunity of knowing the truth with less trouble. I see no harm, however, in its being believed, if that belief has the good consequence, as it probably has, of making his doctrines more respected and better observed, especially as I do not perceive that the Supreme takes it amiss, by distinguishing the unbelievers in his government of the world with any particular marks of his." Brothers and Sister, I am a U.S. Marine and have no desire to generalize any man I fight with to a corrupted term known as "race". Every man and woman beside me bleeds the same color and will one day stand in front of Jesus Christ. Don't let your actions in this life affect your final judgement! Stop the hate! In addition, I would like to conclude this with a message from Jesus: "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12 ~NKJV~

For 1. You can not unteach or reteach man, that was my point, so please do not insult my intelligence. I hate it when people use the double standard by using derogatory terms between themselves and are ready to jump anyone else who says it. I have gotten on to my friends when my friends did that and I ask them to stop any time they group people like that.
2. and so on: I do not listen to rap. even though there are the occasional decent songs, most rap annoys me because most of what you hear on the radio and such is trash, but your rap comment and that comment its self has a bit of a stereotypical/ racial ring to it (Just a little friendly outlook; you could have gotten onto another genre along with it). However, I do listen to alternative rock. Do really believe only Christians have the capability to be kind and not to be racists? If I miss understood you, please forgive me and tell me such. Everyone is a little racist deep down. If you have ever, even for a moment, thought “black people are so loud” or “Asians are so smart” you have just been, in all technicalities, racist. No matter what religion, race, sex, sexual preference, height, hair color, nose shape, eye glass prescription, ect… you are, you will always have stereotypical thoughts. The thing we as people have to do is decide whether to act on them or say them aloud or to accept people for whom and what they are. The other thing is to try to teach others about how cruel it is when you group people in such a negative way and try to discourage children from doing it.

Aqua’s philosophy # 82: I don’t hate you because you (insert group here), I hate you for who you are inside.
(You know I should publish a book on my philosophies. What do you all think? It is that or “How to Get Out of a Horror Movie Alive.”)

I feel very strongly about stopping racism. It makes me so angry when people believe that people are worse than them just becuase of how they look or the things they do. we need to stop the discrimination and make peace with everyone!

I hate it when people make racist comments. A lot of people in my family are racist and I hate it when they say stuff about other people.  I'm not allowed to have any friends from a different race but I do anyways but my parents won't let me bring them around my house.

wow, thats tough

Im only 15, and i think racism is very bad, i couldnt imagine seeing it in adult's eyes. I wish i could just hang out wtih my friends and not have to hear racist comments made about them.

Nicole,  I totally agree.  Racism is a learned behavior.  We need to stop the cycle.

I simply can't understand racism and it makes me sad when I see it.

agree 100% we are all equal in gods eyes!

Im glad atleast one person knows what i mean
