Animals are innocent creatures who need our love and compassion. Animals should be treated with respect not abused. Animal cruelty is a crime against humanity.

You here on the news about animals rescuing people...and wat thanks do they get? A kick to the stomach.. it's just not right

If God wanted people to abuse animals wouldn't it be in everyone's enstinct to hurt them? Well it isn't so To those people out there who like to hurt animals, just think of the way you would fill if someone was kicking you in the stomach all the time.

I agree with tim k. even if you dont own animals. Try to do anything you can to stop animal cruelty. Its their right to live.

i have 9 dogs 8 cats 2 guinea pigs and 4 pet rats i love them all and i dont know if id be able to control myself if anyone hurt them.when we first moved here 20 years ago somebody was baiting dogs and cats it was so horrible to see them suffer it stopped after a couple of years and no-one ever found out who was doing it but god help me if i ever do.

I was on youtube and had just finished watching a video of someone filming their cat and I was looking at the comments. I came across this one comment that went something like this... 'Anyone who allows animals to live with them are idiots. I had a cat once and I beat it so much, it shat itself. My brother just spent $1000 on vet bills for his dog. Idiot.' Reading that made me so angry and it made me think of my own cat. I love her so much, I would get revenge on anyone who hurt her! Lets make this stop before more animals are mistreated... No wonder they attack!!!!!

Oh GOD!!!! I cant even imagine such a thing happening to my two dogs. Theya re like my little sisters and I care for them so much. Seeing them treated so brutally,...... I would rather hang myself. It would be my worst nightmare.....

I would be very pissed (excuse my language) if I went to our local humane society and found them dragging off my dead cat to the dumpster. She is a wonderful cat, the light of my life.

Animal cruelty is a punishable crime and people should report it to the ASPCA or local police dept.

if a human is cruel to a human then you know that person will be cruel to a animal. human steps in to protect their kind. But the animal of the world cant do this for themselves so we have to be that voice and we have to end it. I say put the people in jail and let them sit there for a while. When choosing a pet,remember that you choose them, they don't choose you. They MUST be given the same love, affection and medical treatment that you would give your child. The people that put firecrackers in a cats butt and watch it explode, should have a M-80 put in theirs...how funny would that be??? I wish I could save ALL the animals in the world or just the USA, but I can't. But I do have a voice and a BIG attiude when it comes to cruelty of animals!!

Anyone that hurts an animal should have the same thing done to them, only 1000 times worse!!! An animal doesn't "choose" you, you choose them. So in doing so, you should treat them as you would when you choose to have a baby. They deserve the same love, affection and medical treatment that a human would. Even as a child i was the only "outsider" in my community who thought that animals deserve so much more love and affection then human beings do.This feeling stuck, and today i'm a people hater as much as the endangered animals are. scientists should use themselves for experiments,and for once in my life i want to see a guy making a movie where animals have all the power and humans are vulnerable just like animals are now. for once it would be fun watching an animated lion and his sidekicks poaching for humans, who would shake and wriggle with fear...haha...

In order to stop the cruelty of animals, we need to demonstrate the correlation of being cruel to animals is just one step from being cruel to fellow humans. If we as a society could teach everyone how to treat animals with respect, this will transition to treating fellow humans with respect, Let's save the animal and ourselves.

This is a touchy subject for me, I absoltly hate it when people miss treat animals, all animals have feelings you can see it in there eyes when they are miss treated. They want to be loved just like us, when you see them miss treated I just want to hurt there so called owners the way they hurt those poor animals and then ask them did that hurt, I think there should be a credit check done on people when they want to get an animal.If you don't have time for an animal then you should not have one they are a lot of work but it's all rewarding!!

There are many ways to avoid the support of animal abuse (whether of pets or farmed animals) for example, developing an aversion to going to animal-based circuses or zoos, becoming vegetarian or vegan , making sure not to support pet breeding by buying purpose-bred pet-shop pets , supporting rescue organisations and visiting rescue shelters , and advocating animal rights (ie, taking the approach that animals should have the right to be treated as living sentient creatures, not the property of humans)

Everyone should love their pet/treating them with tlc. My Baby is just that {MY BABY}. I could NEVER imagine her being mistreated.

animals cant defend themselves, we must do it for them! be thier voice. Animals feel joy & love, they get cold & hungry, just like us, as well as fell pain. Stop thier pain. speak up and do the right thing.
