This breaks my heart. I did not know only 5000 exist. We need to make sanctuarys in all countries where at least some of them should be safe.Most governments only think of what resources to waste. pls save the pride of our nation as wehave already lost it to a gr8 extent in the name of urbanisation n developement The tiger is a top predator which means that if they die so does other species. I love the big cats I always dreamed of wanting a tiger cub or a lion cub for my pet. I think they are beautiful animals and they should not be kill there habitat is being destroyed as well. by ridiculous people would they like to be killed the way they kill of the animal kingdom. From Jefferson, Tiger the most beautful animal. According to me there are two main reason that the number of tiger are going down. 1 Poaching and 2. Poisining. Many of us know that our tigers are pouched. I tell you that many are beeing poisined to death by the villagers. this is also one of the reason. to protect our tigers the government has to take steps to remove the villages which are in the forest and near the forest.
