Save the Polar BearsForum Discussion for Save the Polar Bears Submitted by karin N. on Thu, 12/11/2008 - 01:05
again humans think we are above consequences what the hell, if you have enough money you can bribe anyone to allow you to do whatever you want, why is this right, why can big companies be allowed to break the law, how is this humane who is this right, humans are going to destroy this earth and the only ones we have to blame is ourselves!!!!! I thought that the US fish and wildlife services were supposed to be their to help wildlife not help destroy them. Polar bears are already on the endangered list, so how is this legal???? I am afraid that ExxonMobile is more powerful than our voice. Submitted by Francesca S. on Tue, 04/01/2008 - 20:28
WHEN YOU CAN LIVE FOREVER, THE SEARCH FOR LOVE NEVER DIES!!! I DO NOT SUPPORT THE KILLING OF ANY ANIMAL...I KNOW THERE IS A CYCLE OF LIFE THAT WE LIVE AROUND. I JUST CRINGE AT THE THOUGHT OF ANY ANIMAL BEING MISTREATED EVEN FOR FOOD. THERE IS NO NICE WAY OF KILLING FOR FOOD!!! Submitted by Diane T. on Wed, 04/02/2008 - 23:41
I think ExxonMobile could make a smart decision move by saving the polar bear by creating a conservation area also,if they want the oil they should take into consideration that the polar bear has every right as much as them to be on that land also. Submitted by larry j. on Tue, 04/01/2008 - 17:41
I feel ExxonMobile should take into consideration that the polar bear population is decreasing, and if they want their oil referinery's they should take some of their own profits out of their wallet to have a conservation area for the polar bear. they should start to think that what their company does reflects on generations to come , and if we want their bussiness, they should show some kind of action. The hunting HAS to STOP now! We should leave them alone, they are so beautiful and don't deserve what is happening to them! We already caused Global Warming isn't that enough? Submitted by michelle w. on Wed, 03/19/2008 - 20:06
Is there a more beautiful and majestic creature on earth than the polar bear? The hunting should stop ans stop now. Submitted by Cara B. on Wed, 03/12/2008 - 00:02

right now im learning about polar bears at school and i have to research about the extinction of polar bears over the past 100 years. Submitted by Wesley S. on Thu, 02/07/2008 - 07:40
I agree wholeheartedly. There is absolutely no need to hunt them. I am a Canadian and when you go north for the winter, you have to carry a rifle for protection against Polar Bears. Polar bears will attack people, but the rifle is for protection not hunting, most of the time all you need is a warning shot. Hunting them is just plain wrong. I don't know for certain but I think their rationale is to keep their drill crews safe and it helps the hunting lodges at the same time. But they are no threat. Most people who live in the Arctic keep a Polar Bear reppellent and who also acts as a Polar Bear warning system. Polar Bears are incredible hard to see sometimes. But most miners and oil rigs keep a few Husky dogs around. Their barking usually makes them go away. Besides the polar bears were there first, we should act like guests, not like bosses. No need to hunt them at all. Submitted by jann c. on Thu, 01/31/2008 - 22:04

that's sad very sad. Are they trying to cut out our bears completely from our world. Bears are harmless creatures unless you make trouble with them of course..duh. but anyways do they want to take them out so much that our children of century from now won't even know what a bear is. I think this is cruel and uneeded behavior. I will fight with you to save them. Submitted by Brick S. on Wed, 10/24/2007 - 18:28
Pretty sad when all these people think about is money. Kind of makes me wonder what kind of people they are. Don't thet realize this all will effect their children and grandchildren. If they want to know what kind of world we are headed for, watch Runningman. Do we want to live in a protected bubble with no animals. I don't have a pot to piss in compaired to the Oil Tycoons but I surely do anything I could to help the environment. Quit messing around with nature. We have become an invading virus to mother earth and it is only a matter of time before the storms and psunamis and huge fires intensify. Do you think this can go on forever? People need to make a stand as the governing bodies work for us, not themselves. Loading People... |
