Description:

Wouldn't it be nice to walk up to the garbage cans at your fast food restaurants and see a recycling bin instead? I need everyone's help on this one. I think we together can bring about huge change with this petition.

I want to petition fast food companies across the country and then across the globe to provide recycling opportunities in all of their restaurants.

Think of the waste associated with fast food (cup/lid/straw/straw wrapper/napkins/wrapper for food/boxes for food/bags for food). All of which are beyond necessary comforts and simply put in place for convenience. These conveniences are part of our biggest problem (Especially in America) it's simply a waste of our precious resources. This is not about Global Warming this is about sustainability. We are living on Planet Earth in a manner she cannot sustain for long. How are we going to make changes to make better use of our resources? I think this is a great starter! Please help me in this important campaign and sign this petition. Tell fast food business to stop wasting our resources and provide recycling bins/cans at their locations as we'll as to provide either compostable utensils and items or to use packaging materials that are recyclable. Thank you all for your help and please feel free to download a print copy of this petition and circulate it in your community and send a copy to myself with geographic information such as Country/State. I really need all the help I can get on this one! Help bring about real change please help me with this campaign. All suggestions/questions/comments/and signatures are greatly appreciated!

Forum Discussion for Project Recycle Me

we live in the environment, not the other way around. we should respect it, like we should to anything that doesn't belong to us. weve ruined the environment enough, its time we did something about it.

Fast Food is one of the worst - EVERYTHING can be recycled or composted! This is a fabulous idea - add in a little vermicomposting, and it's a golden idea.

plese stephanie meyer pubblish that book!!

I recycle but not as much as needed. I think it is a safe idea but not really something most people are going to jump up and do because it is something healthy. I believe Chemistry should step up and take its part. Create something that is environmentally friendly and easy to remember to dispose of correctly.

Have you seen the pecils made of garbage to save the planet...they are so cool

Save the planet. I try not to go to fast food rest. because they are not enviromentaly friendly.

What a great idea! I would gladly do work for that in my community.

Twilight is the greatest love story ever written im sure it will be up there with Romeo and Juliet in the future but it wont be complete without midnight sun Us readers will love to read Edwards story in his perspective. i know it hurts when people you trust steal things that are special to you but look at the upside there are still some faithful readers out there waiting for you to complete our love story. we are anxiously waiting !!! we wont wait forever but... we'll try!!!

please do release the midnight sun bOok!!! we're waiting for it.. please.. please.. please..

I totally think that fast food joints should have recycling bins!!

I canot believe how behind America is with recycling everyting including garbage. Come to Austria, Germany and so on, they do it for YEARS in any houshold or business.

Please don't end the Twilight saga...it's too good to end. As you write the next 20 books for the saga lol. I think there should be a movie for each bok. I think Rob Patterson is going to be an amazing perfect Edward! When I read, he's the one i picture!

Yes i totally agree with you katie M. on this... i wish she would have never stoped righting her books and that the one got leaked on the internet that she did not finish was a tragedy.... i read all of the books in 2 weeks ..... but i did not picture robert patterson as edward but he is still a good actor to play him..^_^

I totally think that fast food joints should have recycling bins! I never even thought about that! I'm totally signing!

Yes, it would benefit us if Fast Food would Recycle. I would love to see that happen.

Yes, I agree with Rebecca and Mary Beth. Like in Germany, every garbage is SORTED and that makes the work of the recycle-plants easier and more efficient.

i agree too. people say they want the world to be better yet i see little sign of any really doing anything.

Yes, I agree we need recycling bins in restaurants, I don't want my future children children's children's to come to a messy world!!! I applaude you.

I applaud you for using this forum in its proper way. I not only signed it, but everybody could go to various fast food places and let them know that it would benefit their restaurant to join us in the modern world.

Fast food restaurants make a great deal of crap that goes into the garbage. I would love to see us being able to recycle as much of the junk as we can.

It is a great idea.

I'm 14 but i would love to see more recylcing bins in restaurantes.
we need to do something.

we all need to do our part. actions speak louder than words. all are eager to say they will but how many actually do their part??

it is my honor to sign this petition and also to continue to do my part with trying to keep the place we all love for our children and their children.

I agree with this movement.

yup, we need to recycle less! dont but so many cloths! cotton is the biggest polutant, and used tonns of water as dose meat, 1kg of beef+20 litres of water!
