PAY OCTOBER ROAD FORWARD

Many devoted fans are coming out of the woodwork to help save our beloved show and are fighting to bring it back for MANY more seasons to come!

*CALLING ALL ROADIES*

We all want the same thing - to save October Road! In the process of this campaign we will also be helping which is always a good thing to do! Here is how it will work.

We purchase a copy of the 1st season of October Road on DVD. Take it to our local libraries and donate it to their DVD section. Along with this you will take the form letter to the contact person there at the library and explain to them that you are participating in a campaign to save this show and would like to donate that copy to their section. Then have them sign this form that you did this and if they have a library stamp with their address on it, have them also stamp the bottom of the letter.

NOTE: If you have other books or DVD's you have been looking to get rid of and would like to donate at that time, have the library make note of this also on the letter.

They create movie care packages and ship out weekly. Also, the DVD's get passed on to others when they are finished , and that's GREAT! All you have to do is click and ship!

When you have done all of this, send the related letter back to ABC.

I know that maybe some are hesitate about spending that $20 or so, but I have looked at it this way, I will just give up my "pizza night" this week and spend it on buying this DVD to donate. Save your receipt and a copy of the letter, it will be tax deductible!!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Purchase a copy of October Road 1st Season.

2. Print off the form letter from the files section at the link above or at the following links:

Follow the first link if you are donating to a library and the second if you are donating to a soldier

3. Visit your local library and donate, making sure to get the letter stamped (if possible) and signed by the receiving person. If you have chosen to send a copy to soldiers overseas, please make a copy of your receipt and print out the appropriate form in the link above and send both to ABC after you donate your DVD.

4. Make sure YOU sign the letter and add all of the appropriate information needed. Mail to ABC.

5. Make sure to post at the Yahoo group, here or on the ABC October Road message boards after you donated. Please specify the town and state you are from and the library where you donated.

They better bring this show back! It was the only show my fiance and watch together and get caught up in the characters. Please too much was left undone. We need OCTOBER ROAD IN OUR LIVES!

Please bring back October Road! I noticed a common thread in the previous postings, and that is the fact that many people connect with the characters in the show. Myself included!!! There is just SOOOOOO much HAPPY about October Road. Though the guys and gals have "real life" trials, they manage to stay upbeat and look to the future by way of the past. I feel the message of HOPE in every episode, plus the added benefit of loyalty, friendship, and love. Who couldn't use several doses a week of this show, especially during these depressing times. Doctors should prescribe October Road as STRESS RELIEF!
I love this show, please keep it coming!!!!!!!!!!!

What a crime that this network is cancelling this show! My husband and I look so forward to it each week and felt so slighted to only have a few episodes when the strike was going on. There are WAY to many waste of TV time shows on and this show was a quality show with an intriguing weekly follow up. Something we looked forward to week after week and never missed. PLEASE RECONSIDER!! OCTOBER ROAD RULES!!

They say you make your Best friends in school, This show makes me think it is so true. I love this show and how it makes me feel!!! Please don't take it off,in some way we all can relate to the show. I hope this show will go on as if life does....

Scott Rosenberg!! please bring October Road back!! I felt more connected to this show than anyother! PLEASE I BEG YOU!! I will do anything!! if you really are reading this- I know Marty Henum. ive known her since I was in third grade shes my favorite directer. We're close. So if there is anything i can do to help bring it back just tell her. Im Mariah Thompson. and while im at it i might as well say GREAT job. "Stand Alone By Me" is my favorite epi.. I heard angela was based on a close friend, and its great that you could include her in this show. But please dont end the show. Not now.

I have to say this show is the best! I have been waiting and waiting for it's return. I think it's plot and characters are great. It's all my friends and I could talk about the day after the episodes would air. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHOW!! I would be so disappointed if it did not return. BRING BACK OCTOBER ROAD!!!!!!

I am not real big on TV. I have other things that keep me busy so it normally stays off at my house but I can assure that every week my televison is on when October Road is aired...I love this show. It follows in the footsteps of Friends and Mad about you for me. Do not take this show off the air!!!!!!!

October Road is a great show. I looked forward to the next episode every week. This has not occured since Friends and Will and Grace ended. I watch tv to rid my mind of my daily thoughts and maybe laugh, cry or get emotional attached to a storyline for a short while. I can't take another reality show. October Road has great storylines, humor, emotion and great music. Please leave this show on the air. It is truely quality entertainment which is so very hard to find these days.

This show was one of my favorites we need a season 3. I want to know what happens with everyone. We all loved the music it have me a feeling like I was hanging with my friends from highschool again.
