Moonlight is AMAZING!!! It is so refreshing to have something new and original to watch. I am COMPLETELY disappointed in CBS's decision (which I believe is definitely the wrong one!). I don't believe this... what is wrong with CBS. I just don't get it. They finally have it right with the Friday Night Primetime Lineup and now they go and cancel Moonlight. I've been a huge Fan of Anne Rice's series on the Vampire Chronicle's and noticed many details were the same as what she had written about... and look at how many books came from that series. This show has the beginnings of becoming something huge, especially with winning the People's Choice Award this past spring for 2008 - People's Choice Award - Won "Favorite New TV Drama... doesn't this mean anything anymore... Moonlight was my Friday night snuggle under a blanket and just relax show. I will miss it very much. I feel that the decision makers on fate of Moonlight were very negligent of it's many loyal viewers. I will not be clicking this station anymore with my trusty remote. I love Moonlight and would really like to see CBS give it another chance - maybe it would do better an another day as Fridays are not good tv nights. Las Vegas was cancelled for low ratings also and it aired on Friday nights as well. I'm a big fan of vampire shows and was so happy to see Moonlight debut. Moonlight is fantastic. I'm tired of the CSI, FBI, NCIS type shows and all those reality shows. Moonlight is a change of pace and enjoyable to watch. I have never enjoyed a show more than Moonlight. I have never missed an episode and I then download them from iTunes when they are available. The SEASON finale shows that there needs to be more to the story...none of us are ready for it to be over. Submitted by Rita S. on Sat, 05/17/2008 - 05:17
Moonlight is THE best show on TV !!! PLEASE, don't cancel it! I have watched it from the beginning and I have looked forward to each and every episode. It is a very special show. Once again someone feels that a specific program will not make it or does not have the right stuff. Hey Star Trek comes to mind. There is a campaign to save Microsoft XP and "only" 200,000 plus folks have signed it so far. Not enough says Micrfosoft want more. I really do not understand what it takes some folks to make the "right" decision. Give the show a fair chance and stop playing with a limited number of episodes and doing the stop start thing. Will a million signatures on petitions be enough? It is one of those well written, well acted, intelligent shows. What more do we fans need to do or say. I really hope that the powers that be at CBS will change their mind and keep Moonlight through another season. Give the show a fair chance to grow. As someone who has watched from the beginning I originally thought that it may not lead much further. I was pleasantly surprised at the direction it turned. I think it should mean something that Moonlight won Favorite New Drama on the People's Choice Awards. I hope that they will take another look at that. Along with the writer's strike during the middle of the season, the numbers to me look pretty good.
