I think it is tv suicide to cancel Blood Ties. Vampires are way back in fashion (not that they ever left, in my opinion). The success of Twilight and associated merchandise (the "Edward' doll for example) is certain proof that money is to be made in good vampire stories. As far as I am concerned the Blood Ties story and interaction between the main characters would guarantee that revenue far exceeded expenditure, surely someone with the money to back it can see that too!! I am a new fan of the show, but I watched all 22 episodes over the course of two days because I loved it so much! It is a great show with phenomenal actors! This cannot be where the series ends! No! Blood ties is one of the most intriguing, exciting shows on TV today! Lifetime, why are you cancelling this? After reading all the pledges from fans begging for the show to continue, it would seem to be a very poor decision indeed to continue with the cancellation. Why would you want to alienate any of your TV viewer base? I'm sure that many viewers feel the same as I do. I would seriously have second thoughts on tuning in to Lifetime to watch anything, especially since you seem to be willing to disregard the opinions of the viewers who help support Lifetime by tuning in each week. I just love this show ever since it started in 2007 ,lets just say it is a hell of a good tv show ,because of all the action, romance,and good actors it would be a just heart breaking for it not to be a season 3 so let season 3 begin...it would sure fill me up with happiness wouldnt you? Blood ties, wow, the name says it all. This show is captivating, filled with a good looking vamp, and an ideal woman role model who kick ass and make your Blood rush, wanting more. So I go online today and see that Blood Ties is #18 on the Neilson list even after being cancelled. FYI, Moonlight is #1. What do the stations have against vampire shows? It's time to let the stations know that we are still loyal to this show. The need to know we haven't forgotten. I cannot stress enough how much I have loved watching Blood Ties. I've recorded every episode since the begining. I was devestated when I learned that Lifetime cancelled it before they showed the last two episodes in the second season. Lifetime needs to GET THEIR HEADS out of the sand. Blood Ties was the BEST show they had !!!!! If they don't bring it back WE WILL NO LONGER WATCH Lifetime TV. There was QUITE A LOT of us who watched Blood Ties and they'll lose our viewership if it's not brought back.They really need to start listening to their viewers before they lose them all !!!!!!! sounds like blood ties and moonlight are kind of cross promoting each other. This is great that they are both working to save one another and/or that the fans of both shows are working together to bring them back. I support anything to do with the supernatural world. I hope this works out because I crave these shows and anything like em. To cancel them is like denying a drug addict their fix. Blood ties and moonlight are my addiction. I've never liked a show this much before. It is also the only thing I watched on Lifetime. A strong women lead, great acting, very good chemistry, and wonderful writing. Along with getting rid of BLOOD TIES, i'm just waiting for the day the get rid of DEXTER too. But, as said numerous times below they get rid of the good ones and keep all the crap shows. Sorry, but why all the great series cancel and remaining rubbish stays tuned. I can`t understand it. this is very thrilling, funny the actors played perfectly their part and the storyine is amazing .. and even you can`t stop. i can`t stand another great serie just go away. that`s if you make more i watch ... fine!!!! i love the series and i've even started reading the books. too many shows have been cancelled without ever even reaching their peak. I would hate for such a good show like blood ties to be cancelled because of idiotic producers who can't see a good thing when it's right in front of them.  Loading People... |
